4th (Saturday)

Hard frost (16 degrees) very cold northwest wind all day.  David finished splitting wood.  Got a letter from Alice, all well.  I had headache all day neuralgia and felt generally out of sorts.  David and I tested F. Cushing’s eggs and removed 78 infertile eggs.
