Frosty wind northerly, warmer during day. 2 sun dogs seen by Mrs. Phelps this morning. David, Daniel and Walter cutting trees this morning and went to Greenville in afternoon, bought shovel, sardines, & candies. I filled boiler, got weekly Scotsman, People’s Journal, & Midlothian from Roslin today. 19 people at Grange last night.

Enjoy these old photos. Recent ones show people practicing 'social distancing'. Many are planned and posed but one wonders why this arrangement when photos were a big deal. The male in today's photo not even looking at the camera. Nice house but why are most of the windows shuttered? Why is the camera so far back. Was the house the main focus of the photo?
