Slight frost. Fine fresh day but muddy with brisk westerly wind. David repairing sidewalks today. Hamish cold is getting better. He wrote to Tom Ritchie today. Saw bluebird in orchard, scillas at kitchen window beginning to flower. I swept vestry in the afternoon.
