20th (Monday)
Dull and cold wind westerly. Showery. David at Lonie’s. Hamish cleaned leaves out and cleared up yard. Also took Mr. Taylor &c. to Depot. David going to Spofford’s to fix water &c. Miss Palmer having arrived.

Sorry, no entry for April 20th…. but the 21st entry is worth the wait.
Each summer the NICC held its Vacation Bible School at the Country Club, and we swam at that beach. To ferry kids back to the church my mother piled over 20 kids into our VW Bus for the short ride up Preston Hill Rd, (now closed).
