This photo was among the ones labelled as Barr Estate. From the location of the porch on the right side, it appears to be a back view of the house. However the siding is confusing since the front is white clapboards.
Curious to know what the planting is, raspberries? So many questions.

Left Crécy for Paris. Paris is fresh and beautiful in the spring. The foliage is much more advanced than in the country. I took a room at the "Menagerie" where I spent my first winter. Dined with Lee.

Cool windy day N to NW. David painting at Prescott’s. I chored around chickens, wrote to Miss Bryce. Mason’s meeting tonight. A fair turnout. Got home about 1 am.
