After work I often take a stroll and to many of the haunts of last winter like a trip around the Parc Montsouris. In the little lake the ducks are swimming all the winter long. It brings back memories of the country and I always wish for the summer.

The New Ipswich Historical Society undertook a project to record the oral history of the town from some of the long time residents. This project was hampered by the Pandemic, but in 2023 we hope to continue with interviews.
The first interview was conducted by John Rosenfelder who was speaking with Ron Derosier. They spoke of their time working at Walker’s Mill in New Ipswich.

I knew a dozen or more Desrosiers when I lived in New Ipswich. Some were from Greenville. A number of them worked at the textile mills in Greenville and New Ipswich. One of them, Ken, had an appliance and tv store in New Ipswich. My mother loved Ken. You might want to interview him. He's still around, many of the others I knew aren't.
