Nice photos. We had a similar experience here in upstate NY but only 2 days without power. In 1987 I woke up and thought I was back in NH because we had NH utility trucks restoring power here in Brunswick, NY! One state helping another. I'm wondering if NY trucks ever appeared in NH.
We too were without power for that long. Before we bought a generator we kept warm and warmed up food on our sauna stove. That night the ice was so heavy it pulled the wires from our home, we could feel the pull in our home. All night the breaking of the trees sounded like a war was going on outside. We live on a private drive and our neighbors all came together to clear our road. No school where I taught (Rindge Elementary) until the new year. I remember a truck coming to the Newset Mall filled with generators for people to purchase. Thanks for the photos.
I think the caption should read 'Oliver Lindros' instead of Oliver Lindras.

They came from all over the east coast, from Canada to down South. They had trucks of wire and transformers. It was a massive effort.
