Snowy fairing in afternoon, wind South to N.E. to W. David fixing up under barn drains &c. I wrote to Hamish in forenoon and took it down to mail. Got ride part of way with Wilbur. Mr. Thompson told me that Arthur Wheeler was looking after Mr. Bachelder who was sick. Got letter from May all well.

Could it have been owned by the same Bullards who owned the house to the right of Barrett mansion? Maybe their tax payments would indicate the land that they owned. Also, it looks like it was on some body of water, since to the right of the front door there’s a light area with trees behind which could be water.
