James Roger diary entry
2nd April 1913
Cold northwest wind all day. David and Daniel picking brown tails in Balch's Orchard in forenoon and working in the library in the forenoon. Mother not quite so bright today. I finished the old wood in brooder house. Got postcards from Hamish tonight and Miss R., his friend at Troy, has gone to the hospital to have an operation performed on the 2nd (this date).
Is the photo of what was to become the 1808 House?
The Troy that James mentions is Troy, NY.
