Mrs. Emma L. Tucker has had the old building near her residence, formerly used as a physician's and dentist's office, torn down the past week, improving the view from her house. Dr. A. H. Parker, a prominent dentist of Boston, in his early career used this building for his office, and made some elegant dental instruments while here.

9th July 1912
Very warm, dry, and dusty; wind variable northwest to west. David finished cutting in the top field and we brought it in afternoon. He cut some of Miss Palmer’s and put it and some from below henhouse into barn. Walter Hardy got through last night; he is going to Duxbury to look for job. I did some weeding and bugdeathing in forenoon and helped haying in afternoon. Mother feeling better today. Got letter from Sandy who is coming on Friday with Mary. Planted some cabbage

Taylor Rd is my favorite toad to walk. The Taylor property was a nice place to live on. Little traffic noise and beautiful surroundings.
