The ashes of Clara L. Wright Wheeler, age 64, late of Townsend, Mass., whose death occurred at Southbridge, Mass., November 30, of cerebral hemorrhage, were brought to New Ipswich Friday, December 5, by Ernest Wilson, undertaker of Townsend for burial in the family lot here. 1941

Fine cool day; wind west. Mr. Wilder of Townsend preached from Psalm 107: "He satisfieth the longing soul.” A good turnout of people. No evening service as there is to be an open air meeting at Tobey’s [in] Temple. Jessie at Ayer today and telephoned in afternoon.
