2nd (Thursday)
Warm and sultry. Thunder began about noon. David finished cutting incubator field and they mowed the foot of orchard in afternoon. We brought in hay from orchard, the grass they brought from Club House yesterday and what was out yesterday in the incubator field and cocked up what was out this morning. Got letter from Hamish last night all well. He goes to Boston & Hingham on Saturday. Sewing circle meets at parsonage this afternoon a little rain beginning to fall about 5 pm. Was at library last night saw some good views of New Ipswich. Walked up from mail with Mr. Thompson of Milford. Tombstone man
