James Roger diary entry
24th May 1913
Showery; wind east. David choring round in forenoon and with Mrs. Spofford in afternoon. Mother eating and sleeping more today and feeling comfortable under the circumstances. Doctor brought some fresh medicine; also some powders for me. The report of the analysis of our well water came today and is quite satisfactory; no trace of lead: 030 in 100,000. I saved some wood and cut Mrs. Brooks’ lot and part of Miss Barr’s. Got letter from Hamish from Buffalo; also from May.
Nice job as photographer, John. Makes New Ipswich look like a town you want to be part of even if you don't live there.
A great job of cleaning the Maxwell headstones in Central Deanne!
