Death of Edward Robinson
Edward Robinson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry L. Robinson, died at his home in Brookline, Mass., July 21. He was 19 years of age and had not been well since at attack of inflammatory rheumatism. He attended the Lincoln Grammar school, Brookline High school for three years and latera business college. For many years the Robinson family have spent their summers in New Ipswich.
Edward is survived by his parents, three brothers, Preston of New York City, Lawrence of Greenfield, Mass., and Richard and a sister, Margaret, who are at home.
The funeral was at St. Mary's of the Assumption Church and Rev. William J. McCarthy was celebrant of the mass. Burial was in Central cemetery of this town.
A Question for the readers
I’ve noticed how many burials have taken place in New Ipswich even when the family lives in other towns. The Robinson family only spent Summers in this town yet they chose to bury their son here. It must have been their favorite place.

Or maybe burial was cheaper in New Ipswich than in Massachusetts?
I would say that they had fond memories of New Ipswich and requested burial in NI. These summer residents had $ to spare so I think John is right. NI was (is) a beautiful town with things to do in the summer. There was fishing, hiking, golf nearby, a theatrical group put on plays, lectures, and fresh clean air.
