22nd May 1913
Rainy. David went to J. Davis’ and painted window blinds in forenoon and to Greenville in afternoon for several things which was [sic] needed also from Phelps. Mother fairly comfortable but new feature developed, which Dr. Jones did not understand, so we told him to get other advice. He telephoned Dr. Stimson of Fitchburg in the evening who promised to come at 11 o’clock tomorrow forenoon. David wrote to May and Hamish in reply to their letters. May wanting to know about fowls. David and I picked 6 fowls and took them to Greenville in the afternoon.
New Ipswich is a nice town to be from, even better if you're still there.
