Fair and warm wind W to NW. David at Ashburnham with chair stock for Mr. Walker. I cut and trimmed several lots in Cemetery. Got letter from Alice yesterday saying they were going by Fall River last night also from Hamish from Nashua saying part of the plug was removed from his nose and he was feeling better.

The people are naturally very much pleased with the alliance with Russia and yesterday was a féte day all over France. It means much for the peace of Europe. The president was received in Paris with a great ovation. Vive la Russie! et vive la France. Oh! la grande, la belle journée! Courronnous Paris de drapeaux fancais et russes, ceignous le front de Paris d'une auricole de fere; illuminous, et que le fracas de nos acclamations remplisse le vaste ciel! La Ularceillaise! Allons, enfants, de la patric!*

Gravestone Cleaning Project (A Contest)
Kim Black has sent two entries to the maker of D2 cleaning agent
RULES & HOW TO ENTER
1. Entry for this contest starts May 27th and ends September 30th. Entries only valid within continental USA
2. Submit your best BEFORE & AFTER D/2 CLEANING PICTURES to sales@atlaspreservation.com with subject line "D/2 CLEANING CONTEST".
Cleaning must be performed on a gravestone or monument
Three entries maximum per person
3. The cleaning must be performed within the timeline of the contest. To verify this you must show the current date in the before picture. The D/2 container must also be visible.
TIP: Take both your before & after pictures from the same spot/angle and time of day.
4. All winners will be contacted via email for their shipping address and must respond within 1 week, if no response then an alternate will be selected.
Atlas Preservation has the right to use any pictures submitted for future promotion.
The gravestones are just beautiful. I wish I could be there to do some of my own!
