NEW IPSWICH
Correspondent: Mrs. Bessie Cushing
Guy Clifford Blanchard after a long illness died at his Smith Village home last Thursday. He was the son of the late Gilman and Sarah Elizabeth (Wheeler) Blanchard, born in New Ipswich February 21, 1868, and who lived here all his life, as did his parents. In 1889 he married Ida L. A. Partridge and they made their home in Smith Village. Their children are Mrs. Grace Sterling of East Jaffrey, Miss Helen Blanchard of Brooklyn, N. Y., Mrs. Carl Banks, who has lately been living with her parents, and James M. Blanchard of Texas. There are several grandchildren. For nearly 40 years Mr. Blanchard was employed at Walker's Wood Turning shop, until ill health compelled him to leave. The funeral was held at the home Sunday afternoon and was attended by many. Rev. Edward T. Clapp officiated. Burial was in the family lot in Smith Village cemetery.

Warm day and dusty. David at Barretts’ mixing cement. Got letter from Ima (?) Magill.
Love the beautiful row of trees lining Main Street.
Guy Clifford Blanchard lived in the Luhtala house, also the John Webber house on Taylor Road.
