26th July 1912 - Paid telephone bill (how exciting)
Cool and fair; wind north. David went to Greenville in afternoon and took box from Alice to May, also from Chauncey Perry’s to freight house. Brought coal & pipe for Mrs. Parker and grain for us and brought a load of lumber from Balch’s in forenoon. I fixed Hall for Dance in afternoon and picked fowls for self and broilers for Newcomb in morning. Got letter from Hamish. Dance closed at midnight. Paid telephone bill.
