James Roger diary entry
8th March 1913
Frost but milder, wind west to southwest. David went for coal for James Chandler from Depot in forenoon and choring round in the afternoon. Went to Lonie's for a short time and took the butcher meat Roberts Bros. left for him, also some wood blocks. Got letters from Alice and Hamish. I swept Church and lit fires.
All these obituaries are getting depressing. Do they ever do birth announcements, weddings, anniversaries, etc.
