Fair and sunny, beautiful day. David, R. & Whittemore on Cemetery roads. I pulled some grapes and pulled a few blueberries and finished lots in Cemetery. Got 2 baskets of “Porter” apples from Huckins. Telephone service disarranged today owing to tree being cut and allowed to be on wires at Homestead.

The pic of Rev Barber is most likely from the mid 1920s since this when solid steel wheels were first used on some cars like the Packard, Buick, and Oldsmobile. Looks like there were many Wheelers in New Ipswich. I did spent some time this summer on the 'Wheeler porch' in Smithville but did not hear the water this year.
