Methodist Church
I was speaking with Ray Somero yesterday at the New Ipswich History Museum (Appleton Academy) about the history of the Methodist Church which I believe was located in Bank Village. I explained that the church had a large door located near the back that was used to keep the Water Witch Fire Engine No 2.
The door is visible in this undated photo taken by Albro Balch. The church was torn down in 1926. Ray told me that a house was built from the lumber.
