The funeral of Mrs. Bertha Whitney Ambrosia was held Monday in the Federated church in Greenville. Mrs. Ambrosia was born in NewIpswich and all her girlhood days were spent here. She was the daughter of Myron and the late Lucy (Francis) Whitney. She is survived by her father, sister and brother, husband and three young sons, ages 4, 7 and 9. There are alsohalf sisters and brother. Her body was laid at rest beside that of her mother in the Center Village cemetery in New Ipswich. The last years of her life were spent in Weymouth and Quincy, Mass.

Fair and warm; wind northerly. David and W. Hardy fixing up the teams, etc. for the 4th. David went to Greenville for grain and got horse shod. Roads very dusty and everyone crying for rain. I picked four fowls, and Alice and I put up the pictures in sitting room.
How old was poor Bertha when she died? How terrible for her family.
According to Find a Grave Bertha was born in 1902 and died in 1939 so she was either 36 or 37, very young
