Year of her death not listed
Death of Mrs. Edna May (Hudson) Taylor.
Mrs. Edna M. H. Taylor, wife of Irving F. Taylor, died March 27, aged 20 years and 10 days, shortly after the birth of her first child; the immediate cause of death was acute nephritis.
She was a native of this town and her parents were Delbert and Mrs. Eva (Keyes) Hudson; the other children's names are Lillian, Florence and Edward. About two years ago she was graduated from Appleton academy. Within the past year Irving F. Taylor and she were married, and have been residing at the residence of Bert G. Taylor.
She was a member of the local W. R. C., and a most highly respected young lady, very capable and possessed a large circle of friends to mourn her untimely death. Nature had apparently endowed her with perfect health and unusually beautiful face was her birthright.
Her funeral was held at the Baptist church, where she attended church, Tuesday afternoon.

James Roger diary entry
25th February 1913
Hard frost; 2 above zero; wind west; fine day. Dave and Daniel choring around in forenoon, and they went to Tobeys’ and Dan’s in afternoon. Henry Royce called in afternoon. Got letter from Hamish, who is feeling better again; also letter from May at night, and they are well, but Margaret had not gone to school as her face was still a little swollen.
What a terrible loss for Edna’s little baby and the entire family. I’m sure life was never the same for them after this tragedy.
Were they able to save the church bell after the aforementioned fire?
Edna died in 1915. I don't believe the cause of death listed. She was healthy the day before. My guess is that she bled to death. I think the nephritis diagnosis was a cover-up.
she attended the Highbridge school from 1903-1911 and was frequently cited for perfect attendance.
