Number 2 School House on back road to Greenville. Closed as school in 1904. Last teacher is Hattie Brooks.

No. 4 Schoolhouse in Gibson District. School closed Jun 7, 1935. Rose A. Hacker was the teacher. School made into private residence in 1944.
I took this photo in 2018 when the building was bank owned. Currently it is being renovated by new owners.

James Roger diary entry
30th (Monday)
Frost. Cool morning. Wind north to west. Fine day. Roads drying. David at Lonie’s. Hamish took little incubator to Farrar’s and got it soldered. Hamish improving out with Daniel at sap gathering. Took flowers up to Mary’s grave.
