Rain, fresh and warm wind south & S.W. Snow melting fast. David shifting ashes at Spofford’s and at Daniel’s in afternoon. I wrote to Ayer, Hingham and Springfield. Grange tonight. Laura Knowlton got 1st & 2nd degrees.
Yesterday
Due to the warm temperatures, the ice sheet is starting to retreat at the Smithville Reservoir.
Thanks for the Smithville photos. Smith Village was an important part of my younger years. It's a pleasure to see it on my laptop while sitting in upstate NY.
