Dottie (Dorothy) Perry shared some family photos of the Red Pine Farm which was located on what is now High Range Drive in Bank Village (located off of River Road).
Dottie’s great-great grandfather, Eli Cromwell Tuttle, had moved to New Ipswich with his second wife (Maria Hurd Robinson Tuttle from Townsend, MA) around 1915, to be close to his daughter, Helen Tuttle Perry. Helen married Chauncey Perry (Perry Farm Rd, Perry Farm Brook). Many of the family members' ashes still get buried in New Ipswich in the family plot. Dottie has done extensive research on her genealogy. She is the expert on the Perry family.

Drizzly day, wind N.E. Thunderstorms in afternoon, snow and sleet after. 12 at Church Mr. Peacock preached on “Victory through Faith” Professor Chandler opened with prayer. I gave closing prayer. No S.S. nor C.E. service only Mr. Peacock and I being present. I wrote to Hamish, Alice and Jessie Mair.
Ask Dottie if she remembers a green & yellow 49 Ford pickup truck that her parents had in 1959. It was my first vehicle. I sold it to her parents for $125 and bought a 54 Merc from Art Whitney.
Chauncey's grandfather was also named Chauncey. Chauncey's sister was named Helen, after her grandmother. Chauncey's father was a professor if engineering at MIT. The Red Pine Farm house was built in 1750 and had murals painted on the plaster walls.
