Mr. and Mrs. Daniel P. Maynard and family have moved to their house in the village at New Ipswich. They purchased the farm here in Temple 27 years ago and have made it their home since, renting the New Ipswich property. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Maynard will remain and operate the Temple farm.

A pleasing change has been made by moving the post office equipment from the end of the Red & White store to just at the left of the entrance door. This change serves post office patrons and store patrons to better advantage and is much more convenient for Hjalmar Toko, proprietor of the Red & White store.

Frost ice on water pails in henyard. Fine day but cool. West to northwest wind. David picking apples at Lowe’s. I raked some leaves and put them in flower bed in front of kitchen window and went for mail. Picked chickens after and gathered potato vines in heaps. Got letter from Hamish.
Red Sox won World’s Championship at baseball today.
