Fair with cold northwest wind. David harrowing for Mr. Taylor in forenoon and carting sand to Mrs. Parker in afternoon. Mrs. Lorde died at 9:30 p.m. last night. Got postcard from Hamish.
So what was cooking at the Saints Restaurant? Holy mackerel?
Interesting obit. The Thayers have been an important part of NI history. Most senior citizens in NI know about Walter's contributions. I worked for the Thayers in the 50s as well as my mother and 2 of my sisters. In this obit we see another connection between important NI families, in this case, the Prestons and the Thayers.
