Intense frost 2 below zero wind north. David went to Balch’s and took cart of hay to W. Davis at Davis Village and went to Depot to meet Berkley, Margret & Elizabeth who came by the 2 train, Got letters from Alice & Hamish. Gramppy Cochrane died Thursday night. Hamish is going to Boston tomorrow and to Ayer at night. I swept Church &c.
Is the children’s game Ring-around-the-Rosy or is it Farmer-in-the-Dell?
Nice to see families having fun together. The cars depicted are interesting, I think the first photo shows a 54 Pontiac and the second photo shows a 52 Chrysler. No Cadillacs or Lincolns. Seems like a very modest typical American family, staying close to home.
