The Bandstand on Turnpike Road

A bandstand was built in front of Appleton Manor in 1903 for public entertainment. It was removed in 1911.

A view of Turnpike Road looking down from Town Hill. The bandstand was taken down in 1911. The fountain was removed in 1930.
