Heavy Snow
This snapshot was dated August 1969. More likely it was taken in early 1969, perhaps January or February. Appears to be driveway for the Wapack Lodge.
Perhaps some hiker can identify where this was taken. I’m assuming on the trail.
This is a young Al Jenks in Marion’s kitchen. Al is owner and operator of the Windblown X-Country ski area.

Frost 14 degrees – fine warm day. David logging for Walker. I helped to lift the matting and Jim and I shelled corn. Got a letter from Alice I saw Mercury tonight shortly after sunset.
Yes. that is Al Jenks, in Marion's kitchen - not the Wapack Lodge. She was living across the road at the time in a mobile home.
That is probably Al Jenks plowing her driveway. He did that for her for years, then she would invite him in for tea and homemade cookies. I remember a very big snowstorm in early 1969.
