Snow all day wind east. David went to Chandler for grass cutting machine and wheel for barn door and choring around. F Hardy took rods for chandeliers from Hall to get shortened. Broke one of the globes. We expect Hamish to be in Greenville tonight as messenger.
Phenomenal photo of the Townscape. Amazing lack of mature trees we as kids always took for granted. I think I see one of my old houses, an early Appleton Academy building, perched on the hill above Union Hall. Never realized that Number One School, if it’s the building I think it is, had a cupola at one time
Unless there was another country club, I believe the photo was taken on the hill behind Appleton.
