Gould House (Thoms House)
James Roger diary entry
24th June 1913
Fair and warm; wind west. David at the tennis court. I went for grain and paid Prescott's account. Also bought an alarm clock, rhubarb, and tablets. Sawed some wood in afternoon, and Alice and I cleared some old vegetables out of the cellar.
Poor old Walter Aho. What a terrible turn of fate. Wonder how he was related to the more recent Walter Aho of New Ipswich.
Nice photo of the Thoms house. I always admired that place.
I wonder if that was the site of Fred Whitney's 1 pump gas station in Ashby?
