10th (Monday)
Fair and Cloudy. David, Mr. Cochrane, & Johnnie walked to Club House in the morning. Jessie came by the two train. Hamish got buggy from Joe Silver and met her. He then walked to Depot for 450 train. Wrote to Mid Calde for Freemason Dim’t. (?)
When I was growing up in New Ipswich the Apothecary House was owned by the Bays family. Sally was their daughter about 7 years older than me and Sam was their son, about 3 years older than me. We spent our teenage years swimming at the town pool. I think Mrs Bays was a teacher or a librarian. I never saw or knew Mr Bays.
