I found that on Sept 4, 1946, Marion married Frank Robbins and on Dec 1, 1947, she married Lawrence Davis. I also found that Frank had a serious heart attack in 1936. I think Frank was born in 1880 and thus would have been 67 in 1947. I think he died in 1947.

Earlier I wondered if Marion was married. At the time of building the lodge, she wasn't. She and Frank were friends. She married him many years later and the marriage lasted only a year. I'm wondering if Frank died. She later married E. Laurence Davis in 1947 I think. I could not find an obit for Frank.

I could tell James was feeling better by the length of his journal entry. Marion is something else. Talks about this endeavor as if it was a normal day's work. A tipcart is wagon that behaves like a dump truck. My father and I used a 1940 pickup.
