Warm and fiery heat wind S.W. David at Club House all day. Ruth Amee’s funeral today. Mr. Wright officiated, assisted by Mr. Peacock. Pall bearers D. Maynard, R. Walker, F. Shirland, G. Sargent, Phil Taylor, Dell Hudson. I was the Conductor of Ceremonies. I drove to Greenville in the morning with Mr. Cochrane.
This picture was taken before 1888 since George Weston died in 1888. The location doesn't look like it was taken near the bridge on Old Country Rd near River Rd. The topography in the background doesn't seem right. Also the stone structure in the photo is not one I've ever seen.
