I remember the Bicentennial well. Again we see the Preston name associated with a town event. I now have a better understanding of the amount of work & coordination it took to pull off such an event (I was too young then). Francis Leger was a friend & neighbor; he lived in Bank Village, worked with his brother Ernest who had a dairy farm, and was a talented guitar maker. That Patterson art was also very impressive.
