Thank you for posting the photograph of Genevieve Webber and friends. Her daughter, Mildred Hastings, was my first piano teacher and a true eccentric. As a Seventh day Adventist, she would arrive Saturday morning to discuss religious topics with my mother, who kindly welcomed her. I will never forget her “bathing costume” which she wore when paddling in the town pool in the summer. Also, I bought at the Children’s Fair several pieces of furniture which had belonged to Caroline Lowe, so it’s enjoyable to see what she looked like, in such a clear photo.
