Nice photo of Old Country Rd. Interesting how open the landscape was then. The house to the left was a Preston house (Frank? & Eva?), I never addressed them by their first names so I'm guessing here. Across the road from the house you can see a stone wall that follows a path to the beach. Mr. Preston would sit under a tree by the gate and collect 10 cents per car. After Mr. Preston died Mrs. Preston came to live with us for a yr.
