It would be great to recreate that Smithville landmark. I wonder if it would be permitted today or welcome by the neighbors.
The other birdhouse was located at "Angelika's Garden" at the intersection of Taylor and Fox Farm road. I remember the wooden base sans birdhouse when we moved here 40 years ago.
I remember the Bird house by Taylor and Fox farm rd.
I only remember part of it, painted white and green I believe. That was back when I first moved into town mid 1970s.
