I would say you're right. It looks like the Hurd house. I just read George Newell Hurd's obit (Dec 1979) and did not find any mention of New Ipswich. He had a son G. N, Hurd Jr and the latter has no connection to New Ipswich. I found no other Newell Hurds. My mother was friends with a Mrs. Newell. I knew her son Roy who drowned in Waterloom Pond at the bridge on Old Country Rd.
Was there ever a house right next to Hurd ? The big house in the background is familiar
